no problem Shew.
I am really sleepy. Haven't slept in like 20 hrs now. I am trying to stay awake until later tonight... so I can sleep at night. But I don't think I can last much longer..

My sleeping issues are driving me nuts. I fell asleep while eating dinner? I've never done that before, living makes me tired? ... so strange. ...and now, back to sleep? i am still tired.

been busy today... fun busy, playing a video game.
Also, answering the phone a lot... but it's been a good day, I think.
Have a good Sunday night everyone.

Sorry I haven't been around. Had a massive storm here, lots of damage and our modem burnt out. This was on Feb 1st. Last week we went to Sydney to spent time with my dear Uncle who is 95. Hope everyone is doing well.

I am sorry to hear about your storm troubles and burnt out modem tt. But I am glad you are ok. (((hugs)) Spending time with your uncle is a wonderful way to spend the time though. Glad to see you back around.
Nothing much going on around here- just bitter cold. Kept saying we were going to get a major snow storm, we got about 3 inches of snow. Me being from Michigan, that isn't a snow storm... to me that is normal winter. But everyone around here panics over it. The schools were closed for 3 days straight because of it. LOL!
Anyway, happy Wednesday to everyone.

Hope the storms don't come. We have a rough week ahead tornadoes up north heading our way. Everyone has battened down. I have lived here 15 years and never experienced the weather we are having at the moment.

I have lived here 15 years and never experienced the weather we are having at the moment. I've heard it is quite something, keep safe Joy! Hi Heather, I hope you are getting some sleep, I find these bouts of insomnia are cyclical in my case its a monthly occurrence. Hey Shew! I hope alls well.

tt- I hope that you stay safe and away from the storms if you can. Be careful! **hugs** Hi ~apple~! Glad to see you back again. **hugs**
Now, I am getting too much sleep. Sleeping at night and during the day time too- like 18+ hrs a day sometimes. This is disturbing.
I don't know how to keep myself awake, its more than being depressed. ...this is a severely exaggerated symptom of what, I don't know.

Good luck on getting through Friday TT. I do hope the storms pass over you without so much trouble.
It is good to see ~apple~, isn't it? I've missed you Apple!
I will be seeing my doctor about this sleeping issue and a few others, I have an appointment already. I hope they can tell me what's going on.

Got slammed with a ice storm which is headed your way Heather. Lost power all last night. Makes for a flare day today as I don't do well after being cold.

Oh no, I am so sorry about the flare Shew. *hugs* I know how much that really bothers you... I hope it won't interfere with your plans today for D&D.
Yes, the ice storm is here in fact and I noticed it when I hopped into the shower... the very cold shower!! What a shock to the body! I am still cold and it's been a few hours now...I think it was a bad idea for our apartment complex to put all the hot water heaters outside in a little storage room off of the patio!! Bad idea, bad idea!
I was going to go pick up my new glasses today, but I do not want to be out in this weather. Will wait until a better day comes.

25 years ago today my unit was one of the first across the border into Iraq. Desert Storm the ground war. This weekend I am headed to Fort Stewart for a reunion with the soldier of my entire division.
Seeing and sharing stories, remembering the fallen.

I know how much this will mean to you, the other veterans and their families. I do hope that it turns out to be a meaningful meetup and that you will be able to reminiscence with some of those that you served with. Take care Shew and we will be here for you when you return.

I have been having some good days the last couple of days. Even though I seemed to be catching another cold or something. However, everything else seems to be alright- emotionally and all that...
Expecting some snow overnight, so maybe that's what's causing me to feel so ill. Not sure. But it will pass.
Now, my game, World of Warcraft has been fun up until today. I was upset because of a new update left me out - the game isn't suppose to work with my video card now, and although it says it might not run, it seems t be alright-That really upset me because I just paid for 2 more months of gaming and they decide to update and throws me out like that. And it is a strict no refunds policy there.. But Justin helped me out and did an update or something and now it is working ok. Crossing my fingers that they do not more patches that require more system updates that I do not have. For all intents and purposes, I was surprised that the game ran at all- as I am using a very lightweight notebook type of computer, not a good gaming PC. But as long as I can play my game, nobody gets hurt- ok well the bad guys get hurt. But that's all.
Enjoy your day everyone. ox

Feeling a little better today. Things seem to be going a lot better this week. I am moving forward finally, with my life and making plans, setting goals and challenging myself to meet them. Life finally feels livable again.
And I am having fun again. Which is really new to me - but it feels so good after so long.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Travel and sleep have been the roughest things to deal with on this trip. Weather systems causing delays or cancellations. Plus having memories intrude on my sleep... I am happy to see so many commrades in arms after all these years. Some of the memories sparked are difficult to deal with. But i feel i can handle them now and i have connected to guys who dont just understand and empathise they share the same as I.

I am proud of you for going and not letting weather and travel and fear stop you (like they can do to some of us, myself included).
That is an important part of healing, I think, to really have someone *know* what you went through or are facing still means a lot. Not saying that others can't be empathetic, but it is different when you don't need to explain it all out to another person. They can offer support from a view point that most people cannot.
I do hope that you get home safe and sound and are able to find some peaceful sleep Shew. It is good that you were able to have this opportunity to reunite with your comrades.

Getting ready to go questing in WoW. I am kind of hiding out here to see if my new "friend" (lol) on WoW will go sign off or get bored with me. He is too talkative. I just want to play the game, not chit chat all day long. If wanted to do that, I wouldn't be in game. This is why I like to quest alone. Less distraction and more quest doing. Although I will say, he has a lot of information about the game that I didn't know about... so there's that. And he seems nice and everything. It's mostly me that just wants to be left alone.
