I have had a lovely day exercise classes this morning and walking down the beach this afternoon.

I have had a good day today as well. I would love to see the beach. Haven't done so in a long time. But I don't live near a beach anymore.

Today was quiet for me- except for my bird, who was not quiet.

We are lucky Heather we live about a 5 minute drive to the beach. I am just off to the gym then home to do a little housework. The playtime on the computer my favourite sport.

Unfortunately, playtime on the computer is my only activity most days. I have a severe mobility issue now. But I do walk when I can. I took a few walks lately, and that's good. It feels good to get out of the house.

Sometimes I use a walker now too. But only if my back is really hurting. Haven't used that in a few months. So, that too is good.

Today is a good day again though. Getting things done around the house, preparing for a Dinner Party on Tuesday, that we are hosting. First time hosting one, so this will be interesting. LOL

Oh, and I will be offline for quite a while tonight, as I am getting a new laptop and will need to spend some time on there fixing it up the way I want it. Ive been using this same laptop for 12 yrs now and it is time for a new one.

That is good Heather not using the walker for so long. Been a long time since I have hosted a Dinner Party. What is on the menu?
Exciting getting a new laptop and 12 years you are due for one.

Nice day weather wise, off to the shops for a browse and the groceries. At this stage haven't got much planned and that is great.

I have nailed down a menu- finally. We were going to just order it catered but I don't want to do that. We are going to do a vegetarian dish of zucchini and herb casserole and offer fresh salmon- grilled with lemon and herbs as well. It will be sweet potatoes and green beans as sides and I am baking my son's homemade bread recipe for a bread offering as well. We have a lemon chiffon for desert that I like and white wine.

I am always worried about the house though. Even though your guests don't notice things, I always do- why is there dust on the lampshade? LOL

I hope you get your groceries and then just relax. I love the autumn weather we are having right now. Everyone thinks its dreary, but I like it, somehow.

I am relaxing now before bed, been out all day at a horse event , sampled a lot of free alcohol there which was a perk lol

Please, yes, just relax here. It's a great place to unwind and be yourself. A few drinks makes me a little ready for sleeping. It isn't so late here.

May I ask, what part of the world are you from? I am on the East Coast of USA- not far from Washington, DC.

Heather that menu sounds delicious. One of my favourite dishes is Salmon, it has a taste all of it's own. I think we are all like that when we have visitors can see dust. LOL

Another week has started. This morning hubby and I are off to exercise classes. It will be a hard morning it is with weights and she calls the movements very fast. Well fast for me. Hope your day is a good one.

I used to ride horses when i was younger, used to be fun.

What am i doing today , well the army are going out, i have a young one at home tho that cannot go out as he wants to run off all the time so we will do something.

I am going to spend tonight trying to relax. My lip is much less swollen now and I am starting to feel better. But because tomorrow is our dinner party, I want to try and just not do too much today.

Lovely rain last night and a sunny day. Did a bit of pruning and went to the gym and just off now for my afternoon walk. Hope your days is as nice.

I have had the best morning. I have a Canadian friend who I have know for 14 years and we spoke to each other on the phone for the first time. It was just lovely we never stopped chatting. Nothing like friends.

That's lovely toetapping. I love to hear from old friends. It's so nice when you can pick up the phone and just start off where you left off last time, even if it has been years! I have 2 friends like that and I just love hearing their voices over the phone line.

I am feeling much better today. I think I am allergic to dinner parties.

Heather it is stressful when guests are coming. I am sure the salmon was a hit.

Hi there, finally got the PC to behave today so dropping by and trying to catch up with all my on line friends. Hosting any kind of meal Is a nightmare for me so it is not a thing i do often. The menu sounded lovely  Heather. I sure hope your lip is feeling ok now ? I think you said you was going to see the doctor today Good luck.

toetapping you put us all to shame with you wonderful exercise program and healthy eating your an inspirition to us all I know you definitly are to me.

Hi @casper not sure we have met. Young ones at that age are an handful that's for sure maybe a pair of those child reigns may help at least you will know where the young one is.

Well must go start packing for our trip back home can not believe it as been two weeks but will be glad to see my own home and my own bed and back to my own routine. Take care all catch up again soon.

momo, I am so glad you stopped by today. I've missed you. But I do know how very difficult your trip has been on you. Getting back to your home and normal routine is exactly what you will need. A vacation from your vacation. ***hugs*** and hope you have a safe and pain-free trip back home.

Heather it did go well. I don't go back now for another 6 months. Agree you do feel good when you have been to the dentist.
