because our site is hosted for free by proboards we are mandated to a pg-13 content. No graphic violence, sexual encounters. You can elude to them but going blow for blow through everything is a sure way to have it and possibly the whole sight deleted or banned.

Sorry to hear about your mom's fall ~apple~. But it is good that she is alright now. **hugs** Taking care of our parents as they age is similar to having young children again- except it all feels different... We used to be able to go to them for help and this is one time we cannot do that.
I hope that she gets over her spill quickly.

Mom is still in the hospital. I think she will be needing new living arrangements as she seems to be confused and I don't think she is all that capable of taking care of herself anymore. Its a sad time for us.

Been enjoying Kingdoms of Amalor: Reckoning a very large world rpg. From EA a few years back. But as I had it for free on my PS3 I am going back through and restarting and finishing the game. I find the lore is very interesting the sociology of the races is amazing there are two types of creatures the Fae or wild folk includes all animals and the Elves these are immortal. not undying but resurrect in repeating cycles. And the races of men, and lesser elves the Dolkefar and Flokejar light and dark elves but not full Fae. Anyway it can be picked up cheap at stores or through the online store. Bit older in graphics but there is a deep and rich story, with multi-tiered character paths as well. fighter, mage, rogue, or any mix you wish. I play a warlock, a mage/rogue mix hit from afar or from the shadows. Arrows, chachrams, and knives.


On Morgan's trial, is this his defense that is asking for continuances or the prosecution? Because every prisoner has the right to a fair and speedy trial. Without a direct confession they cannot incarcerate anyone for a prolonged time with out a trial. His defense should put the full burden of proof to the test with a speedy trial date. Unless they are the ones doing the continuances for mental health reasons. But know my heart aches in empathy for your sorrow.

Morgan is my son's ex girlfriend- and she already signed away her right to a speedy trial last summer.

The documentations states: "Joint request to postpone case" and was filed by the Plaintiff (State's Attorney).


I realize there "could be" more evidence that they are trying to work through- or maybe getting her mental health records or whatever (because of her age at the time of the crime- 14) could be causing delays- there could even be a scheduling conflict within the court system or attorney's lives- things change and happen.


It just feels like this is dragging on and on. Forever.  My son did what he could to defend himself, but all the while being open and honest without holding up the court's time or stringing it along adding more stress to the already traumatized family.  


Sometimes I think it is a detriment to all involved to keep pushing back the trial dates. Take into account too- Morgan is being held in an adult facility handcuffed at all times and in solitary (23/1) -23 hours locked alone and one hour out a day for shower and recreation - ALONE then too- it is not humane to do this to her. When I say handcuffed- if she is on the phone, they hand cuff her to a bar next to the phone...and she will need help dialing and putting the phone to her shoulder. Handcuffed to a bar in the shower. Handcuffed when being moved from one place inside the prison to another, handcuffed at recreation so drinking a cup of coffee is difficult..It is not an easy way to live for 2 yrs... or to see a young girl being held this way.... I know this is how the inmates who are in administrative segregation are treated as my son was placed in that as well. It changed who he was too.

The saddest part is when you see your child- handcuffed at the wrist, ankles and waist and all 3 are strapped down to the metal chair which is cemented into the ground and you are watching all this through thick plexiglass when the officer dials out for him and places the phone on his shoulder and walks away- thus were all the visits with my son at the country jail...

I wish it was warm here, but it's not. It is so cold, it's horrible. Been off work for two days as I've been waiting news of a relative who was taken into hospital Thursday night. She is OK from the last message I got from my mum. She's complaining about the food and being bored. LOLOL We are taking this as a good sign and taking each day as it comes.

I wish your family member well. Sounds like she is getting better, most who complain about the food are on the mend. lol But sending you an extra care ***hug*** for support.

Nothing really happening today here. Was going to get to the housework, I know I need to get the vacuum out and switch over the laundry. But besides that- not much. My son didn't call me today... that always gives me a twinge of sadness and worry- but it's not past 8pm, he can make more calls between 6pm and 8pm on weekends- so maybe he is waiting for that time today.

The hot spell is still lingering on and I feel for the aged. A lot do not drink enough water and it is effecting their health and some don't use their AC. Don't know how they survive.

Decided to watch yet another Liam Neeson film, this one is called 'Suspect' and it's been very good so far. I went to see the final Taken movie then other week, that was awesome, too.

I must admit, my favorite role I've seen him in was when he played Qui Gon Jinn- in Star Wars EP 1... loved the costuming- grrroowll!~ lol~ Something about the jedi robes and that long hair.

I said a good thing about EP 1- ...it was one of the few ok things about the film- that Liam Neeson was in it, that is what we were talking about right?

Absolutely not BarrowMad. He is sexy regardless of who you are, what age you are and I would gather even what gender you are. He just has it.. (especially in jedi robes. )
