When was the last time you faked being sick?

[Heather]

Ok, I only ever did this once- but at my first job, I had been there a few years by the time this occurred, because I started working here at 14- but I was 16 when this happened... it was a large retailer (Meijer) and it was a GORGEOUS day outside. The sun was shining, the wind was light, the weather was warm..and I just had to spend the day outside in this beautiful day. I *tried* to come in to work, went there even (and called in from a pay phone INSIDE the store-lol) Me: "Yeah, I'm really not feeling well today. I will be in tomorrow." Boss: "Umm, okay, what is all that noise?" (grocery carts were being pushed inside behind me. ME: "Ummm, don't worry about that. I will see you tomorrow, bye!"

LOL...I still feel bad for lying, but I spent that day at a nearby river, fishing and reading. Enjoying the day.

I hate to admit it, but I called in sick just a couple years ago. True I was already feeling the effects of Desert Storm Syndrome but I was not as bad off as now. It was the launch day of Skyrim well actually the day after I had pulled an all nighter and was not in good enough shape to work that day for lack of sleep so technically I was under the weather but I caused the situation by not being responsible.

What are you always late for?

[Heather]

My twin has a saying for me: "My sis is only ever late for being early."

I honestly would rather not show up at all if I am late. So I make certain I am not late.

I am only late for bed... HAHAHAHAHA :)

I am late for filing my taxes...usually.

I am never late. I always like to arrive anywhere half an hour before I have too. I think it runs in the family as Mum and Dad were the same.

Are you an organ donor? Why or why not.

[Heather]

My body is going to "The Body Farm" for forensic study at the time of my death.

I am an organ donor. I just feel if some organ can help some one else it something that everyone should do.

I am pragmatic, whatever is usable is for the use of others. My organ donor witness is the singer Jewel I saw her at a whole foods and asked her to sign something and only had my drivers licence. So yeah I had her sign my Organ donor.

Have you ever had surgery? If so, what for?

[Heather]

Yes. I had a C-section with my son.
I had my gallbladder removed when a large gallstone was blocking my bile duct.
I had to have an emergency surgery to repair a hietal hernia when it became strangulated.
