Third grade, I was playing on the playground and some of the guys come running over and giggling blurt out that Shelley liked me. Shelley Andrews, long long blonde hair the color of light sunshine. Pale blue eyes and a symetrical face. She had been blessed with very good looks. She was not like most pretty girls she didn't have a holier than thou attitude she was smart. We had only known each other a couple of months but we didn't share a class we did share MENSA. My father had me tested for I.Q. shortly after I moved back with him at the end of second grade. Now he is not a smart man but he is a bright one. But MENSA for a young kid is sort of weird. for one there are few kids in MENSA or at least back then there were few. I suppose with today's parents trying for every advantage they get swarmed with requests. But back then the KC chapter had just the two of us under 16.
We played at love for a few years and drifted by 5th grade. Then in 8th we picked up again, I would say we were pretty tight together then, naive and adorable. She had retained her looks and I was probably the cutest I have ever been I still like looking at my school picture from then. We kissed daily, held hands and had secret meetings at the library after school to hang out. Absolutely adorable in hindsight.
Life changed for me soon afterward. My father and mother started fighting over custody and child support payments. they bickered and fought and I was left in the lurch often as a result. Things were happening in Shelley's life too but I had no idea as I was caught in my own troubles. We drifted.

Who was the first person who had a crush on you? His name was Milo and I don't remember what grade we were in, 3 or 4. He was always hanging around the field behind my house. He was afraid to talk to me but one day he did. I had no idea he was crushing on me. only looking back did I realize that. lol He was adorable.

Would you rather have a beautiful home in an ordinary suburb or an ordinary home in an extraordinary place?

I would rather have an ordinary home in an extraordinary place. I actually prefer smaller homes. Without children in the house, it would be lonely if the house is too big.

I want a tiny home in a extraordinary place. Just big enough for me and my dog. Simple and easy.

Well, I really like going to the drive in theater. There is one out here and we go often. It brings back some good memories and also gives me an opportunity to make new ones too!

Would you rather have a car radio that you cannot change the station and you cannot turn off or no car radio at all?

Election reform, and the end to gerrymandering. The people need to be in control of the government and not the other way around.

Finding a light behind the eyes when talking with a woman. I sometimes test their understanding by talking about deep subjects philosophy or sociology so issue that has more than one side. Sometime I discuss deep math or thoughts on the universe to see if the light is behind the eyes showing understanding. When I see it. that is intoxicating and makes me lose my inhibitions I become freer with my speech I flirt more.
