I liked a few different classes for different reasons. My top 2- A.P. English and Advanced Astronomy minus the calculations parts- lol, I could follow the formulas and what not- I just really liked going to the planetarium and watching the sky every other day.

Would you survive the Zombie Apocalypse? Why or why not.

Umm, no. I wouldn't. Firstly, I don't know that I would want to- and secondly, I certainly am not going to make it very long outside and camping with strangers and running around all the time...
someone would put me out of my misery the first time I started voicing complaints...

Interesting phenomenom zombies, seems every region of the world has its own brand of zombie stories and myths so there must either be something to genuinely fear in our collective pasts or there is a more universal fear of death and therefore reanimated death things attacking the living.
When it come to zombie apocalypse I am not sure I would survive, I know I would be the smart one who designed someway to try, but would i succeed? When it comes to a end time disaster like that your really fighting three major forces, nature in simple survival, food, shelter, safety. The creatures themselves the threat involved in creating the disaster and their wants, needs, and patterns. And the scary thing, the baser instincts of your fellow man. Is that stranger you see in the distance going to be helpful or demand more of your supplies than you can handle or take them from you by force? Boon, burden, hazard. Every movie I have seen has hit upon this rather well We do have to fear ourselves as much as the monsters.
I am not sure I would survive and I am a combat experienced veteran, I worry most not about the monsters that are the zombies. I think the undead would be far easier to deal with than my fellow man when driven to the extremes of survival that a disaster of this nature.

That's what I was talking about Shew, I wouldn't want to watch what this would do to others... and how it would change me too. Rather I wouldn't make it than to see the world through that view. I'm already leery of strangers, I would never trust a human again.
The "zombies" would eventually be a minimal threat, it would be the rest of us that would be the main danger, I think.

If you could grant one wish to another person who would you give it to? Why?

I would grant the surviving victim of my son's crime my only wish. Because I would do anything to make things alright again for her and her life.

You're walking home in the dark. Something moved! What is it? (guess) And what do you do?

It's a stranger, a young man. I look at him, he doesn't seem dangerous, but it is dark out, so I cross the street and continue to my destination walking a little faster, making sure that I am listening for foot falls behind me.

** side note on the last question** Looks like most of our female members have the same kind of reaction- fear, our minds went there right away.
Our one male participant was not worried at all, in fact, he found something that was more vulnerable than himself in the dark.
It is interesting seeing how the mind works. I particularly liked seeing these responses. Good job everyone!

Oh, I forgot today's question. Let me get one for us....
November 27, 2014
Think of one thing you can do to help someone else out, tell me what it is- and whether you plan on doing it now that you thought of it...
*Yup, I made that one up personally, usually I find random questions*

I know that there are a lot of people out on the streets this winter- and what I like to do is go to the thrift store and buy up several warm winter coats in a variety of sizes from children's to men's sizes and give them to the homeless shelter.
The day I make the donation, I also donate my time- to help clean, make beds, and pass out some of the meals to the people in the shelter. I feel that is is a good winter time tradition and one I want to continue.

I have already done my "thing" for this Christmas. Myself and the children do something every year, I'm not saying what it is. Its our thing and I love doing it every year.

I like ya though. Something tells me, you are one of the most genuine loving people I've met.
I think I like ya- I mean, I get a little worried over people doing "things"... you know me, my mind always goes to worse case scenario
"Apple and her children do their 'thing'- that thing happens to be sauteing reindeer over an open fire while they tickle torture the elves of the North pole."

"Apple and her children do their 'thing'- that thing happens to be sauteing reindeer over an open fire while they tickle torture the elves of the North pole." LOL heather! You make me laugh, I love that about you, that and how open and genuine you are. I have been told I am hard to get to know, I would love to be as open as you and others but it just isn't in me to be that way. Don't worry, the 'things" we do are very loving and kind! I try to teach my children how good it feels to give to others and to be that person who will do the right thing, even when nobody is looking. Know what I mean?

What "thing of beauty" do you secretly look at and wish you could be more like?

**Hugs ~apple~** I completely understand. You really are a sweetheart. I can tell by the things you do say and way you represent your values.
I hope too, that you don't mind when I playfully tease. It's something I kind of like to do. And I hope that I always come across as funny and not a meanie. lol

The things of beauty- hmmm, well I really have a fascination for mermaids. I find them beautiful, love the idea of being out on the sea- although from what I can tell, they seem really lonely. Not sure if "beauty" is worth that price though.
