I'm finally awake from my nap. Well, after the nap, I was spending time with Justin. I love weekends- it makes me happy to have this time together.

Heather I will stay here. Don't handle the cold weather at all well. We lived in southern Australia all my life where it is cold in the winter but shifted here 14 years ago. It is 34 today but still sitting in that AC..

Oh, toetapping, I thought I was going to get a nice warm vacation away from this cold. brrr... I love the snow for a little while, until I am sick of it and the mess and freezing. Ok, I am ready for summer again.

Hello ~apple~. It's cold here too. Not sure if there was frost outside, I honestly didn't look. It's too cold to go stand by the window. LOL

Spent a lot of the day just hanging out with Justin. Tried to take a nap early on this morning, but Doctor bird wasn't having it. She was chirping for all it's worth to keep me awake- so she could tuck her little head under her wing and take a nap.

Anyways, just now online to check out everything. Going to take my time and try to visit as many forums as I can... if miss yours, please forgive me, there's only so many hours in a day.

Good morning @marti. I am so sorry I missed you last night. I was tired. I have to see my doctor today. But maybe later tonight I can catch up with you.

It's still quite early for me to be online here. But just wanted to briefly stop in and say hi to everyone. I do have to get offline soon. Going to be offline most of today, I think.

There's a brand new RPG area here for a fantasy game- read through the rules area and see if you might want to try it out. It is really fun and can be quite exciting and rewarding.

Think about the RPG area as a way to write an on-going story with friends. And do not worry if you think you aren't a good writer, you will get better as time goes on. I am actually not as skilled now as I once was, but I know how much fun this can be and am excited to take part in this type of writing again.

So... well my doctor's appointment didn't go as well as I would have liked. I was taken off the new blood pressure medication, as my feet are swelling and it can actually cause congestive heart failure.. (that's bad...) and put onto a new blood pressure medication that is related to the older blood pressure medicine that they think I am allergic to...
Then I explained about my knee issue and she ordered a knee x-ray.
And I mentioned some lady time problems, and she wants me to get an ultra-sound done...(possible uterine problem?)
And I showed her how my elbow doesn't work well- and the lump in my arm- so she has me seeing a vascular specialist...

I ended up going to imagining clinic today- but the person who does the ultra-sound was out with the flu- had to schedule that for this Friday.

Got the knee xrayed but they can't give me the results without my doctor reviewing the images first which will probably be tomorrow or the next day.

Have to wait for the vascular specialist referral in the mail...

ARGH! Too many people touching me today. So I am sitting here, trying to relax by doing a bit of writing.

Doctor bird got my attention earlier. I was kind of ignoring her because I was reading- and she was chirping and flying around. She flew onto the top of the tv, stopped chirping and then said, in clear words, "Pretty BIRD!" lol- her first words! I thought she could speak, she just chooses not to. What a stubborn little sucker!

Doing good thanks , had a productive day today , selected my bike that Maxx recommended , looks fab ! just got a wait now for the scheme paperwork to come through. Plus I painted a whole bedroom ! just relaxing now !

Hi! I am fine today thanks for asking. Its a busy day for me today, lots of planning and such to do for various committees I am on and for work.

That is a quick appointment, you are lucky. I know that sometimes it takes a while to get in to Ultra Sound for an appointment., at least here it is so.

@gibby, that sounds great. Painted a room? Wow, I am not that skilled. It would need a new coat of paint over my own attempts at that type of work. Good Job!

~apple~, I hope your planning goes smoothly- and that when it's time for committee meetings everything too, goes well. Keep up the hard work!

Here, if you have insurance, it doesn't take long to get in to an imaging clinic. In fact, if the technician hadn't gotten the flu, I could have been seen yesterday. It is a walk in type clinic. Luckily, I have insurance- but I wasn't always insured, and that caused a lot of minor problems to get bigger... but finally I am able to take care of them.

Unfortunately, I am sitting in a pile of insurance plan paperwork right now, trying to choose a new one for the upcoming year and it all seems like it is veiling it's self as something good- at a premium price but not covering very much... Will see an insurance counselor at my doctor's office before I make a final decision with this, it's too important to try to "guess" which coverage is best for me.

The weather man got it wrong it is warm and humid 30C, we were expecting it cooler. Nice evening with friends tonight going to a Vietnamese Restaurant. Don't think I have had their food before so looking forward to it.

I am sure your painting efforts would be marvelous ! I used a roller makes it easier plus it was a small room :)

Well after getting all excited about my new bike yesterday turns out work don't issue the certificate until January ! so I have to wait until then to get it .......  I want all the girlie accessories to go with it too lol
