I was 12. I got stuck up in the tree too, because I was afraid to come back down. My friend's uncle had to come and get me out of the tree. I was crying and everything. I never climbed a tree again. lol

My last job was the best job I ever had! I wished that it had never ended. Really. I was sad when my department was faded out.
I worked in a call center in a distribution center. It was outbound calls. I would track delivery trucks and call the retail stores to let them know that their truck was on the way, like this:
"Hi, this is Heather from transportation. I have a truck approaching your store with ((just read the trailer's contents here)) "12 pallets of groceries and 3 pallets of fresh (produce)" Please prepare for delivery in the next 15 minutes. May I have your name please?"
Now, some stores I knew who I was speaking with as it was always the night crew manager and usually the same person night after night. I miss talking with these guys, they were fun to have short talks with. lol
I made hundreds of calls each night, for retail stores across the east coast of US.
I tracked the trucks, made the calls and just had to enter the name of the person I spoke with into the log. That is it. I was paid well to do this job too.
But the company ended up putting tracking devices, automated GPS callers on all the trailers of the trucks- which would call the store alerting them to the impending delivery. Once that was implemented, my whole department was phased out... too bad, it was really a good job to have. Plus, I worked alone all night- no one in the office except for me. I loved it. I didn't need to dress up or make small talk with anyone. Only people ever around were me and the security crew.
