Treat your fellow posters with courtesy and respect.
Enlightened morality is valued here, if you decide to succor to your baser instincts and cause a fight you will be given a warning level equal to the offense.
There will be a true Utopian republic here. Where I simply oversee, present and then enact the will of all. Meaning the case will be open to all to see and chime in on. If you don't want it out there for all to see then I would recommend not posting it even in private.
You may keep or distribute your own identity as you see fit. But this is the internet and being safe should be a priority to you. You may not distribute the identity of anyone else.
Posting from other boards and from this boards should be only your own works. Meaning that if you wrote it feel free to move it around as you see fit. Be mindful of copyright infringement as it will be removed if it is found to break any law, or the proboards T.O.S. : link
Insulting remarks will not be tolerated, racial, ethnic, social, religious prejudices also will not be tolerated. If you decide to debate a subject have your facts straight. Proper citation of your sources would be appreciated.
Troll like behavior will result in a warning level. What is a troll you ask well here is a link to the wikipedia page which I will use as our definition here at Heather's House. it includes other info on trolls as well like history and motivations. I have a long history on the internet having been around since the days of Bulletin board systems which are the first ways that people communicated over the internet. Baiting someone into a fight, false flagging for sympathy, ad hominem attacks, using multiple screen names, continually posting off topic, will all be met with a warning level. If it is repeated too often then expect to find yourself locked out of the board.
If you misuse the pm system to attack someone expect to have your privileges locked down as well.
These rules will be adaptive, so look for changes. If any of these seems unfair I will listen to your ideas on reform. And gladly look forward to your suggestions on additions or deletions. This is our community I am just its guardian.
